Abstract

|
This study is conducted to investigate the status on psychotropic drugs prescription and the physician factors and sources for drug information which affect drug prescriptions.
The result of:
1) The kinds of using psychiatrist' drug are about 2-3 kinds(above 80% of all) that is to be few than other physicians.
2) Almost psychiatrists use the drug that had been used for their training period. Therefore resident's prescription practice need to be more emphasized for drug education.
3) The important guideline of choice drug; the first is using experience, the second is drug effect and the third side effect of drug, but not influence of doctor's financial advantages, regulation and health car system as yet.
4) an informer of drugs; the first is using experience during resident period, second is the educational activity of the professional association.
5) The doctors' prescription are not largely affected by commercial sources of pharmacy and newspaper.
